Honey, especially raw, can contain bacteria and spores (including those linked to botulism) that a tiny budgie's system isn't equipped to handle. It's also pure sugar, so there's real risk and no real benefit.

Skip honey and honey-coated treats — including many honey sticks, which are extremely sugary as well.
