No — chocolate is toxic to budgies and can be fatal. There is no safe amount.

Why

Chocolate contains theobromine and caffeine, stimulants that budgies cannot process. Even a small amount can cause a racing heart, tremors, seizures and death. Dark chocolate is the most dangerous, but all chocolate is off-limits.

What to do

Keep all chocolate and chocolate-flavoured foods well out of reach. If your budgie eats any chocolate, contact an avian vet immediately — don't wait for symptoms.
